Are you a marketing and sales analyst with an interest in new emerging markets and technologies? Want to work for a fast-growing business intelligence company based in Barcelona, Spain? We are looking for an entrepreneurial marketing and sales analyst to join our sales and marketing team to enhance our competitive intelligence, sales and marketing efforts.
You will generate insightful qualitative and quantitative analysis including developing strategies and identifying potential subscribers for the sales and marketing teams to target, mapping related industry data services, company profiles and monitoring recent developments in data publishing businesses.
This role also involves optimising the sales funnel performance from "lead-to-revenue", analysing client usage patterns, providing data-driven recommendations for marketing campaign improvements, and delivering monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports to management.
The role
Sales and marketing data - Identifying, collecting and processing data on the potential market for Tamarind´s subscription services, building contact lists for sales teams and marketing outreach purposes, segmenting potentials based on industry, role and engagement in our sectors
Desk research/AI – gathering data on potential new customers using both internal and external sources including using AI, identifying key individuals within large organisations to build relationships, assist the sales and marketing team to reach out to new potential customers.
Sales and Marketing performance analysis – analyzing the efficiency of the sales funnel to identify optimisation opportunities and bottlenecks. Measuring the performance of marketing campaigns across various channels. Providing data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance conversion rates and reduce cost per acquisition.
Data visualisation – creating visual representation of findings, including building reporting dashboards for management to track progress for sales and marketing
Job requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
2+ years of experience in sales and marketing analytics, with a strong focus on data interpretation, performance measurement, and actionable insights.
Strong experience in market research, including competitive intelligence, industry trends, and customer behavior analysis.
Experience in marketing insights and digital analysis, including website and behavior analysis, digital campaign performance, sales funnel optimization, and lead quality and attribution analysis. Proficient in using tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other website performance tools to drive conversion rate optimisation.
Strong experience in data analysis and insight generation to drive decision-making.
Understanding of CRM software (e.g., Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce) and experience in analysing CRM data.
Ability to undertake unguided research into topics where there exists little data/information to generate insights
Fluency in English – our working language and written content language is English
Proficiency in MS office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), other data analysis packages (R, Python, Tableau, PowerBI) valued
Experience working in similar industries, particularly market research or data industries, a plus.
